Connecting to the game servers

Last reviewed June 2026

game-play.net is a small, private service: we host game servers in France and Germany and keep them running around the clock. If you are a member, your connection details were provided when you joined — this page is about using them.

Addresses are never published

Server addresses are private and provided to members only. You will not find an IP or a port anywhere on this website — and that is deliberate. If you are a member and have lost your details, sign in and they are waiting there. If you are not a member, this is not the service for you.

What you need

  • A member sign-in for game-play.net.
  • The game itself, installed (see the store link on its page).
  • A few minutes the first time — after that it is plug and play.

Connecting, step by step

  1. Sign in. Your session details (server entries for the titles you play) are available after sign-in. They are tied to your account and should not be shared.
  2. Pick a title. The library shows where each game runs — France, Germany or both — and how many servers and slots each location offers. The status page confirms everything is online.
  3. Add the server to your client. Use the entry from your session details: a server name and a favourite list, not an address you have to remember. Most games let you keep it saved for next time.
  4. Join and play. If the room is full you will get a clear "server full" message — check the other location or come back shortly. That is the whole ritual.

Capacity and status

Every title lists its capacity, and the server status page shows all locations at a glance. We do not overbook the rooms: what the status page says is what you get. If a server is restarting, give it a minute — the page reflects it and it clears quickly.

Backup: virtual LAN for the few titles we cannot host

A handful of LAN-only titles are not worth a hosted instance, and for those we fall back to a private virtual LAN (Hamachi) between members. This is a backup path only — if a title is listed on the status page, use the hosted server instead. The details live in the virtual LAN guide.
