How it works
- Know someone inside. Membership starts with a person — a friend, a former teammate, someone you met at a LAN or along the way. If you do not yet know a member, the short answer is that the network is not the place for you yet, and that is by design.
- Get vouched for. A current member introduces you and stands behind your invitation. This is the only door in.
- Take the fair-play pledge. No cheats, no wallhacks, no griefing — on a private server the rules are short and we all actually have to live with each other afterward.
- Get access. You receive your sign-in and your server details, and the connecting guide walks you to your first game. Most people are playing within the hour.
Why there is no signup page
A registration form implies an account system, and an account system implies a database of strangers we would then have to police. We do not want either. Invitations are handled person to person, so there is nothing to sign up to — which is also why the registration page simply explains this instead of asking for your email.
A note on capacity
The service stays comfortably small — enough people that every game night is full, few enough that nobody is a stranger. If you have been vouched for but we are currently at capacity, we will tell you plainly and add you when a slot opens. We would rather wait than dilute the room.
You are already vouched for? Ask your friend who to contact, or write to contact@game-play.net with your name and the member who introduced you, and we will take it from there.
